Lawyer Juan Antonio Ramos explained on TikTok that a neighbor’s tree planted closer than two metres to a property is illegal under the Civil Code. The law prohibits trees from being planted near property boundaries and requires overhanging branches to be trimmed.
This threatens the property rights of the footballer who wants a shaded, cool garden. Ramos emphasized that legal action can be taken to have the tree removed if it violates the statutory limits.
